Student SHRM Chapter Testimonials
SHRM gave me the confidence and background knowledge to make logical decisions within the first few days of my new job, whether it was applying my leadership style or handling personnel issues. It also provided me with an extensive list of resources to be used well into the future.
Erin Christenson - University of Northern Colorado
Being a student member of SHRM has helped me to get scholarships to pay for school, networking with prominent HR leaders in the community, and has created bonds with other student members. By working with other student members I have gotten support with my education and degree program, as well as support with my career and future goals. I would strongly recommend SHRM membership to anyone interested in furthering their careers and bettering themselves.
Liisa McPherson - Colorado State University
I have been able to use SHRM in many different ways. Through it I have registered for the PHR exam, researched papers and topics for college, found local chapters to connect with when I graduate and even connected my club members with potential speakers.
