Southwest Central Region

Colorado is part of the Southwest Central Region (www.shrm.org/chapters/scentral.asp) of SHRM. SHRM has seven regions in the United States, Asia and the Caribbean (see table below). The Southwest Central Region includes: ARKANSAS, COLORADO, KANSAS, LOUISIANA, MISSOURI, NEW MEXICO, OKLAHOMA, TEXAS, UTAH

The Southwest Central Regional Team acts as a liaison between SHRM and our members by:

• Helping individual members with questions and membership
• Assisting chapters in remaining affiliated and with chapter operations
• Attending state council and regional council meetings
• Participating at state conferences
• Acting as a speaker at chapter meeting, state conferences, and other events
• Promoting SHRM member benefits
• Assisting in the recruitment and retention of members
• Supporting potential chapters in becoming affiliated
