Colorado SHRM State Council 2009 Diversity Champion Award

Time Warner Cable received the first ever Colorado SHRM State Council 2009 Diversity Champion Award at the Stand by Me Diversity Conference held in Colorado Springs. Dayna Piper, Director of Human Resources, was presented the award by Stacy Dvergsdal, Colorado SHRM State Council Diversity Director.

• Diversity Programs and Initiatives: Time Warner Cable has several diversity programs and initiatives in place. To highlight a few of their initiatives, Time Warner Cable requires that every management level employee attend Diversity & Inclusion for Leaders training. They take pride is selecting women and minority vendors. Time Warner Cable sponsors and participates in several community activities throughout the year. Recently, employees participated in the 16th Annual Palouse Pride & Diversity Festival celebrating Gay/Lesbian/Bi/Transgender visibility and rights. They produce a corporate and regional quarterly newsletter communicating all diversity efforts.
